Stronger Together
Funded by BBC Children in Need; The aim of project is to raise awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation through dialogue with mothers and daughters and to break down the stigma associated with CSE. The aim is to explore the signs and affects surrounding child sexual exploitation. We deliver workshops that provides mothers and daughters a safe and healthy environment to build the confidence and relationships where they are able to speak about sensitive issues. The raising awareness workshops cover current issues young people face in society such as, Bullying, Social Media and Keeping Safe Online, Body Image, Healthy & Unhealthy Relationship, Abuse and CSE and The Law. The project also runs a youth club on a Saturdays for young girls aged between 10-18 years with fun leisure-based activities. The sessions are informative and planned with input from young women based on issues faced in their communities.
