Interpreting and Translation Qualifications

An assessment in written and spoken is required prior to starting the course. The training is led by International school of Linguists, an established online training and exam centre for over 10 years.

Level 3 Community Interpreting

  • Assesses oral skills only (candidate does not need to know how to read and write in the other language, only in English)
  • Training, preparation and exam are all done remotely via online platform and Zoom
  • Learner gets access to our online platform, e-learning and 1:1 tutorials followed by 2 attempts at the exam
  • Duration is approx. 6-8 weeks, with a maximum of 6 months
  • Enables linguists to register with agencies and work in community settings (NHS, mental health, social services, local government)
