Active Families
Active Families is a 4-year programme funded by Sports England. The project is aimed to work with disadvantaged families in the Bradford district whose children are not doing 60 minutes of physical activities per day.
The project provides 1-1 support, taster sessions, peer support and family activities.
A team of qualified bilingual Outreach Workers will deliver a 12 Week activity programme where we help families put in extracurricular activities into their daily routine. The aim is to empower families to understand the benefit of physical activity.
